Learn Japanese With Viki!

Have you ever watched the cute high school romance between Kotoko and Naoki in “Mischievous Kiss: Love in TOKYO,” or perhaps real-life love stories in “Love Stories From Fukuoka” is more your style? Well, in either case, wouldn’t knowing a few words in Japanese multiply your enjoyment of the shows you love to watch?

We break down and translate five great-to-know Japanese phrases below. Try practicing them with friends and you’ll be a pro soon enough!

In “Tokyo Girls Update,” viewers are introduced to the latest trends in Japan culture, such as girl fashion, cosplay, anime and more! The show starts with MC Hikari Shiina introducing herself. She uses the simple greeting, “Hello, everyone.” No need to be shy – let’s wave hello back, too!

After saying hello, Hikari Shiina usually starts the show by sharing her name, “I am Hikari Shiina.”
Tip: Don’t forget to replace Hikari Shiina with your own name!

In Episode 3 of “Tokyo Girls Update,” Hikari welcomes her friend, a model named Ai Matsumoto, as a guest to report on fashion while shopping together. They greet each other happily and Hikari says, “Long time no see.”

Hikari and Ai visit a cosmetic store at “109,” a famous shopping mall that is popular among teenage girls in Tokyo. When they see all the different products, they can’t help but respond with “Kawaii” about everything. Can you count how many times “Kawaii” is used in Episode 3?

In Episode 4 of “Tokyo Girls Update,” the four-member girl group “Silent Siren” is the guest accompanying Hikari as they go to a game center in Tokyo. This is their first time meeting, so Hikari is more formal and polite while greeting them. She looks forward to working together and says, “Thank you in advance.”

Which phrase do you think you’ll use most often? Tell us in the comments!

Asian Harvest Festivals: Great Excuse to Eat Treats, Give Thanks!

Yoo In Na of ‘My Secret Hotel’ sends out her Chuseok greeting!

Ah yes, the colors of the leaves are changing and the long summer days are drawing to a close. Instead of feeling gloomy about the chilly months ahead, it’s time to celebrate autumn and the harvest moon. Learn about the traditions of Chuseok in Korea and other Asian autumn festivals!

Traditional mooncake with tea

In China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, citizens celebrate the autumn festival with lanterns, mooncakes and plenty of delicious food! This festival is supposed to celebrate the end of the harvest, thanking the moon deities for a successful harvest and for many more to come. Families eat mooncakes – sweet lotus paste cakes filled with an egg – to symbolize unity and strength. Lanterns are lit as symbols of the festival and riddles are written on them so that others can try to guess the answers.

Haagen-Dazs ice cream mooncakes

Today, the festival is about family unity, and it is common for families and close friends to exchange extravagant boxes of mooncakes. Mooncakes are no longer a simple pastry filled with sweet lotus paste and egg; they can be made of ice cream, green tea, jelly or even chocolate! Lanterns are still lit in honor of the festival, but they have become increasingly extravagant, just like the mooncakes!

Traditional songpyeon

In South Korea, today is Chuseok, a celebration of autumn that is sometimes referred to as “Korean Thanksgiving.” The origins of the festival are a bit of a mystery, as some believe that the festival represented the ancient Kingdom of Silla’s victory over the kingdom of Baekje. Another story says the festival began when the Kingdom of Silla held a monthlong weaving contest between two teams, and that the losing team had to hold a feast in the winning team’s honor.

Ancestral offerings during Chuseok

No matter the origin of the festival, this is one of Korea’s biggest holidays, and families come together to pay respects to their ancestors and eat songpyeon. Songpyeon is a steamed rice cake filled with delicious fillings, such as sesame seeds, jujubes or honey. Sungpyeon is shaped like a half moon, which represents victory and a bright future in Korea. Families often gather together to eat them to wish their families a victorious and bright future.

Check out some pics of your favorite stars celebrating the autumn festival below!

Kim Bum: From ‘Boys Over Flowers’ to ‘V Love’

We’re happy to see Kim Bum again on the small screen, but this time he has decided to take on the challenge of starring opposite Chinese actors and actresses in the new on-air drama “V Love”! After eight years in the business, Kim Bum has come a long way from playing a teenage boy to taking on more mature roles as an adult heartthrob. Follow us as we reminisce about Kim Bum’s path to stardom through his roles in popular dramas!

So Yi Jung in ‘Boys Over Flowers

This has become a K-drama classic after its explosive run in 2009. With so many cute flower boys, it makes complete sense! Kim Bum plays So Yi Jung, a skilled potter whose family owns the country’s largest art museum. A notorious playboy, he eventually stops his wayward ways after finding true love with Ga Eul (played by Kim So Eun), Jan Di’s best friend.

Park Jin Sung in ‘That Winter, The Wind Blows

In the role of Park Jin Sung, Kim Bum plays a troublemaker who follows his favorite hyung, Oh Soo (played by Jo In Sung). He is active and bright but has a temper. If someone hurts his family or the people he loves, Jin Sung won’t let the person get away with it. His biggest hope is to live happily with Oh Soo, Moon Hee Sun (played by Jung Eun Ji) and his family.

Kim Tae Do in ‘Jung Yi, The Goddess of Fire

As Kim Tae Do, Kim Bum’s character grows up with and cares for Jung Yi (played by Moon Geun Young) like a sister. He protects and hides her true identity as a woman in order for her to become a potter. He also helps his mom to operate an inn. With so many great gentlemanly qualities, we can understand how Moon Geun Young grew fond of Kim Bum on-set, blossoming into a real-life relationship that sadly ended in May.

Ou Hui in ‘V Love

Kim Bum switches it up this time by playing Ou Hui, an arrogant, wealthy restauranteur. After a chance meeting in a cafe that Wei Wei (played by Li Xi Rui) is working at, Ou Hui seems to show some interest in her. He falls for Wei Wei’s honest personality, but does she feel the same? See what happens starting from Episode 1!

We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this young star. Which Kim Bum drama is your favorite? Share with us in the comments below!

But here are five fun facts that you may be surprised to learn about the birthday boy!

He’s an Established Actor

Lee Jong Suk appeared in his first drama, “Prosecutor Princess,” in 2010 but achieved break-out success in 2012 with his appearance in “School 2013” alongside superstar Kim Woo Bin. Since then, he’s had various cameos and leading roles, including his starring roles in “I Hear Your Voice” and “Doctor Stranger.”

He Has a Hot Body

There’s a reason why Lee Jong Suk is a model as well as an actor — he’s definitely got the body for it. Not only does he have a killer set of abs and a perfect smile, Lee Jong Suk towers over crowds at an impressive height of 185 cm (that’s 6’2” in case you don’t want to do the conversion)!

He Knows How to Act Cute

He’s known as an aegyo master and has admitted that he would probably perform a little aegyo for his future girlfriend once in awhile.

He Has an Ideal Type

Speaking of future girlfriends, Lee Jong Suk mentioned that his ideal woman is someone whom he can learn from — know anyone to recommend to him?

He Loves Spending Time Alone

Okay, maybe Lee Jong Suk won’t have a girlfriend anytime soon since he also admitted that he loves spending time at home alone, just watching TV. He’s even mentioned that he’ll have a conversation with his TV once in awhile to entertain himself.

Let’s wish Lee Jong Suk a great birthday this year! How would you like to help him celebrate? Let us know in the comments below!

A Future U.S. Military Officer Uses Viki to Learn Languages

Anderson Estrella

Viki fans come in all forms from every region of the globe – and in all age groups. Anderson “Andy” Estrella is a 19-year-old native of New York City and says the Korean and Japanese dramas on Viki have helped contribute to his language learning.

Andy is a 4/C Midshipman (student), a freshman at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. He is pursuing a degree in Political Science-International Relations with a minor in Japanese – and he credits his exposure to Korean and Japanese dramas on Viki for his educational goals.

Andy first discovered Viki earlier this year when he was browsing titles on Netflix and came across the Korean drama “A Gentleman’s Dignity.” Immediately, Andy was hooked. That first drama led to many more Korean dramas and then Japanese dramas, which then evolved into an interest in learning the Korean and Japanese languages and cultures.

“My friends find it odd that a Hispanic male from New York City understands Korean and Japanese with limited proficiency,” Andy says. “I am grateful to Viki for helping me build my language proficiency. I use Viki for my language studies because I sometimes watch the dramas without subtitles to synchronize the images with sound in order to familiarize myself with the context and usage of the words. Then I watch it with subtitles in order to have a better understanding.”

Korean, Japanese and the German he studied at a local college while in high school are just a few of the languages Andy wants to master. With his multilingual capabilities, Andy hopes to become a valuable asset to the U.S. Navy and give back for all that has been given to him. During his four years at the U.S. Naval Academy, Andy plans to apply for exchange programs abroad, specifically Japan, but he is open to any programs that will further develop him into a well-rounded individual.

“I really want to participate in any exchange program because I want to experience new cultural environments,” Andy says. “With the importance of international trade, regional expertise and language proficiency are as important as any arsenal in the U.S. Navy. The economic and strategic significance of our relationship with our trading partners make it important to be proficient in foreign languages.”

With his life dedicated to his academic and military training, Andy says it’s hard to find the time to keep up with all the dramas that he loves. He’s not afraid to admit that his favorite genre is Romance and Action/Adventure, with recent favorite dramas including “A Cunning Single Lady,” “You’re All Surrounded,” “Doctor Stranger,” “My Love From the Star” and “Hotel King.”

“There are 24 hours in a day, six of which I spend sleeping,” Andy says. “This means, in reality, I have 18 hours. While at the Academy, I am very limited in time and have countless tasks and objectives to complete within that time frame. So on leave (break), I catch up to my dramas and apply what I learned.”

Andy has formed a very clear idea how he wants to use his newfound interest in Asian cultures in his future career.

“I am particularly interested in using my skills and knowledge to assist the U.S. Navy to the best of my ability,” Andy says. “My main goal is to be a productive operator in our international arena by being knowledgeable about the world resource endowments, trade movements and patterns, and the world’s diverse economic, political and social system (specifically in Asia). These are all essential information when interacting and cooperating with the citizens and representatives of vast nations that, as a future U.S. Naval Officer, I will inevitably encounter.”

How to Find Love: The K-Drama Way

$

Gong Hyo Jin and Cha Seung Won in ‘The Greatest Love

Love is a wonderful thing, and we should all be lucky enough to experience it and have it in our lives! Love comes in all forms, but if you live in the K-drama world, this ranges from sympathetic love for your dead girlfriend’s younger sister (see the upcoming “She’s So Lovable” starring Rain) to angry love for your selfish ex-husband/current boss (see “Cunning Single Lady”). Read on to learn about five other unusual types of love that can only be found in Korean dramas!

Emotionally Scarred Love

In “It’s Okay, That’s Love,” Ji Hae Soo (played by Gong Hyo Jin) and Jang Jae Yeol (played by Jo In Sung) are highly successful professionals personally dealing with deep-rooted emotional scars. Hae Soo witnessed her mother’s secret affair as a child, so she struggles with affection and physical intimacy with her boyfriends. Meanwhile, Jae Yeol grew up with an abusive stepfather, who died unexpectedly, and his older brother was sent to jail for the crime.

Somehow, these two emotional wrecks learn how to heal each other’s scars. I guess crazy + crazy = normal? Do you think their relationship can overcome all the craziness?

‘Noona’ Love

Recently, a hot trend in dramas has been “noona” romances, the Korean word for “older sister” that is used to refer to relationships between an older woman and a younger man. If you don’t believe us, “A Witch’s Romance,” “I Need Romance 3” and “Secret Love Affair” are just a few recent examples. In “King of High School,” Lee Min Seok (played by Seo In Guk) is an average high schooler who suddenly replaces his look-a-like older brother at his new job. His office “noona,” Jung Soo Young (played by Lee Ha Na), shows him how to navigate the adult world, and he soon falls in love with her.

What happens when Soo Young discovers the truth about Min Seok? Will this noona romance last?

Contract Love

Some women may dream of finding a handsome guy with a stable job and warm family. While this is certainly true for Joo Jang Mi (played by Han Groo), it’s the complete opposite for Gong Gi Tae (played by Yeon Woo Jin), a certified bachelor who is determined to stay single. It’s the classic fake relationship plot in “Marriage, Not Dating” when Gi Tae introduces Jang Mi to his family as his future wife to get them off his back about settling down.

We know how their story ends, but aren’t you curious how her fiery, honest personality wins over the heart of this arrogant, non-committal man?

Mythical Love

First, it was an alien and an overly dramatic actress in “My Love From the Star.” Now, it’s a mermaid and an unemployed man in “Surplus Princess.” We enjoy seeing writers starting to branch out from the status quo and explore more unique romantic storylines! The tricky part for Kim Ha Ni (played by Jo Bo Ah) is that to remain a human, she must find her true love within 100 days.

Do you think Ha Ni will succeed, or will she be sent back to her underwater life? If you were a fan of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid,” then we suggest you give this drama a chance!

Forbidden Royal Love

We’re familiar with seeing Jung Yong Hwa as the charismatic leader of K-pop boy band CNBLUE, but did you know that he actually made his debut as Kang Shin Woo in the popular drama “You’re Beautiful”? Now, he’s returned to the small screen again in “The Three Musketeers,” playing Park Dal Hyang, a royal warrior guard dedicated to protecting the Crown Prince (played by Lee Jin Wook). There’s just one catch – the Crown Princess is his first love that he can’t seem to forget.

Does she share the same feelings? Will their innocent past love become a forbidden palace romance?

Which type of love is your favorite? What other types of love do you think should be added to the list? Share with us in the comments!

Viki Launches Endangered and Emerging Languages Program

Aleksey Shklyaev is on a mission — and Viki is helping him to achieve it. He heads up a worldwide community of translators known as the Berykton Lud whose members’ mission is to help develop and keep a little-known dialect spoken in Russia known as Udmurtalive.

Udmurt is spoken by only about 550,000 people in the former Soviet Union. The language is not fully supported by the Russian government, and there are very few books and only about two hours of daily television programming available in the Udmurt language.

In order to keep the Udmurt culture alive, Aleksey’s translating group — comprising technologists, scientists, journalists, doctors and students based in Moscow, Italy, Finland, Estonia and other countries — contacted Viki to add the Udmurt language to our growing list of languages for translated subtitles. In addition to the Berykton Lud, nearly a dozen organizations have contacted Viki in the last two years with the goal of preserving their languages and, by extension, their rich cultural histories.

Today, Viki and its parent company, Rakuten, have partnered with the Living Tongues Institute for Endangered Languages to launch our new Endangered and Emerging Languages ProgramTogether, we’ll document endangered languages and assist communities with maintaining and revitalizing knowledge of their native tongues. Visit the Living Tongues channel on Viki to find out more about the organization’s amazing work.

Udmurt is now one of about 200 languages that Viki currently supports, 25 percent of which are now considered endangered or emerging languages.

When Aleksey’s group first discovered Viki, the members were thrilled. With its already licensed films and television shows, Viki provides an easy platform for the translating group to work on its Udmurt translations and expose the Udmurt language to more people around the globe. “It’s very good for cooperation,” Aleksey said.

Learn These 6 Phrases to Help You Survive in Japan!

While watching your favorite drama, have you ever wished you could travel to the same places? Well, here is your chance to travel along with the popular recent drama “It’s Okay, That’s Love”!

In Episode 8 of “It’s Okay, That’s Love,” Hae Soo (played by Gong Hyo Jin) and Jae Yeol (played by Jo In Sung) make a last-minute decision to go to Okinawa, Japan, for the weekend. Luckily, they could use English most of the time, but wouldn’t knowing some helpful phrases in Japanese have been much easier? We think so!

Here are six Japanese phrases that will help you to survive in Okinawa — or any other part of Japan — on your next trip there.

How to Say Hello

“Hello, good morning.”
“Hello” – こんにちは (Kon-ni-chi-wa)
“Good morning” –おはようございます (O-ha-yo go-zai-masu)

This is the standard greeting that is always a great way to start the day. The words are different in every language, but the meaning stays the same. Say it with a smile, and you’ll get one in return!

How to Get a Room

“Excuse me, I was wondering if you have any other rooms. Two rooms please.”
“Excuse me” – すみません (Su-mi-ma sen)
“I was wondering if you have any other rooms” – 他の 部屋 は ありますか (Ho-ka-no he-ya wa ari-masu-ka)
“Two rooms” – 2部屋 (Fu-ta he-ya)
“Please” – お願いします (O-ne-gai shi-masu)

Upon arrival at the hotel in Okinawa, Hae Soo discovers that Jae Yeol only booked one overly luxurious room. She asks the staff if there is another available, which starts their long search in both the same hotel and at other places for a room fitting her much lower budget. She won’t rest until they’re in two separate rooms at a reasonable price!

How to Pick Up a Guy/Girl

“You’re just my style.”
“You are” – なたは (Ana-ta-wa)
“My” – 私の (Wa-ta-shi no)
“Type” – タイプです (Type de-su)

Note: In this case, it is more common to say “type” instead of “style” in Japanese

Jae Yeol and Hae Soo are the perfect match as they both admit to being each other’s style, or type. They’ve both never met someone quite like the other. Jae Yeol even confesses his love!

Check out their hot makeout session at the beach below!

How to Ask for the Bill

“Excuse me, bill please.”
“Excuse me” – すみません (Su-mi-ma sen)
“Bill” – 会計 を (Kai-kei wo)
“Please” – お願いします (O-ne-gai shi-masu)

Hae Soo is concerned about paying for everything equally with Jae Yeol during their trip. Before the check comes for their meal, she asks the waiter for “dutch pay,” which means splitting the bill in half.

How to Respond to Someone Waiting for You

“Okay, I’ll be right down. Thank you.”
“Okay” – わかりました (Wa-ka-ri mash-i-ta)
“I’ll be right down” – 今 うかがいます (Ima uka-gai-masu)
“Thank you” – ありがとうございます(A-ri-ga-tou go-zai masu)

Hae Soo calls the hotel staff about the availability of another room. She learns there is one and responds that she’ll be downstairs right away in order to get the key. Little does she know that the room is still a little too grand for her liking.

How to Ask the Price of Something

“Is it really 24,000 yen?”
“Is it” – それは (So-re-wa)
“Really” – 本当に (Hon-to-ni)
“24,000 yen” – 24,000円 ですか (Ni-man yon sen en desu ka)

The happy couple enjoy a fun date and end up painting little lion dogs called Shisha. Hae Soo is starting to loosen up, but we suspect she’s still shocked after learning how much the hotel room originally booked by Jae Yeol cost – for that amount, we would be, too!

Note: $1 USD = 109 yen; 24,000 yen = $221 USD

How Well Do You Know These Stars Born in September?

September is such a popular month that we had to group all our favorite celebrities together to wish one big “Happy Birthday”! Did you know that the following stars all have September birthdays?

If you’re born in this month, then your zodiac sign is either Virgo or Libra. People born from September 1 to 22 are Virgo, a sign known for being understanding, caring and compassionate. Those born from September 23 to 30 are Libra, a sign identified as being organized and peaceful.

Check out which stars are born in September below and see if they’re a Virgo or Libra!

September 5 — Mandy Wei, Cyndi Wang and B1A4’s Baro

Mandy Wei only debuted five years ago, but her rise in the industry has been fast! She’s currently starring as the lead actress in “I Do 2.” Her past drama appearances include “Deja Vu” and “Love, Now.”

Cyndi Wang started out as a singer after signing with Avex Taiwan in 2003. She successfully branched out into acting with roles in “Second Life,” “Heaven’s Wedding Gown” and “Smiling Pasta.”

Baro is B1A4’s rapping cutie, but lately he’s received critical acclaim for his acting in “God’s Gift – 14 Days” and “Reply 1994.” Fun fact: While still a trainee, Baro asked TVXQ’s Yunho for an autograph and the message said, “Let’s meet on stage in the future!” Two years later, Baro met Yunho on his debut day and Yunho remembered him. How awesome, right?

September 9 — Jung Il Woo

Even with his military enlistment planned for next year (we’re sad to see him leave!), Jung Il Woo is busy doing as many projects as possible until then. He currently stars in the thrilling historical action drama “The Night Watchman.” As he gets older, his acting also has become more mature and we hope the experience of military service will add more depth to his future roles! Which of his dramas have you enjoyed watching the most — “Golden Rainbow,” “The Moon Embracing the Sun” or “Flower Boy Ramyun Shop”?

September 11 – Leroy Young

With his ‘The Way We Were’ co-star Ruby Lin
Leroy Young can speak English? Yes! He graduated with a degree in information systems from the University of California at Irvine. He’s definitely easy on the eyes with a perfect smile complimented by hot dimples, but he can actually act, too! See his acting skills put to the test in “The Way We Were,” “Two Fathers,” “Love Forward,” and “Marry Me.”

September 16 — Amy Poehler and Lee Jin Wook

Amy Poehler is respected for her comedic chops and memorable sayings. One of her life quotes is “Sometimes painful things can teach us lessons that we didn’t think we needed to know.” Well, enough with the seriousness — keep the laughs coming by catching her in “Parks and Recreation Season 1” and “Season 2”!

Lee Jin Wook got his start as a print model for Panasonic in 2003 before transitioning into acting the following year. He’s best known for his leading role in “Nine: 9 Times Time Travel,” which had the same writer and director as “The Three Musketeers.” Fun fact: Lee Jin Wook recently broke up with Gong Hyo Jin (from “It’s Okay, That’s Love”) after dating since May!

September 19 — Saki Fukuda and David Zepeda

Saki Fukuda is a veteran actress with 10 years in the industry, but she’s only turning 24! In her young career, she’s already received a Japan Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Watch Saki in “The Tragedy of W” and judge for yourself how well her acting has developed over the years.

Can you believe hunky telenovela actor David Zepeda is turning 41? We think the native Mexican doesn’t look a day over 30. If you’re looking for more skin, see David in “Trapped”!

September 25 — Hyun Bin

We couldn’t possibly leave out Hyun Bin! The Korean actor is known worldwide for his leading roles in such popular dramas as “My Name Is Kim Sam Soon,” “Secret Garden” and “Worlds Within.” His relationship with Song Hye Gyo didn’t work out, so he’s still on the market, ladies!

Let’s wish a big Happy Birthday to all these September babies!

Girls’ Generation Drops Jessica Amidst Social Media Frenzy

Jessica’s celebrity skyrocketed after starring in 2012’s ‘Wild Romance

The world of K-pop girl groups was shattered just a little in the past 24 hours when it was announced that Jessica has been dropped from Girls’ Generation following several hours of social media frenzy.

It all started yesterday morning when Jessica, one of Girls’ Generation’s nine members — but possibly the most high-profile — posted on Weibo, a Twitter-like service based in China:
“I was excited about our upcoming fan events only to shockingly be informed by my company and 8 others that as of today, I’m no longer a member. I’m devastated — my priority and love is to serve as a member of GG, but for no justifiable reason, I am being forced out.”

Initial speculation centered around whether Jessica’s Weibo account had been hacked. But several hours later, SM Entertainment released an official statement that confirmed that Jessica will no longer be a part of Girls’ Generation moving forward. It also provided additional information about her departure that disputed Jessica’s self-depiction as “being forced out” of the group.

In the statement, SM Entertainment claims that Jessica informed the agency last spring that she intended to end her involvement with Girls’ Generation after one more album to pursue other personal projects. She then started her fashion label, Blanc Group, supposedly without securing the agency’s approval. When negotiations broke down between the agency and Jessica over “differences in priorities and interest,” the agency said it had “no choice but to pull up Girls’ Generation’s activities as 8 members earlier than planned.” But while they were discussing how best to announce the news, the statement said Jessica jumped the gun and “posted her words early this morning.”

The statement also said that Jessica is still under contract with SM Entertainment, and the agency will continue to support her “individual activities.”

The news is so momentous for K-pop that even The Wall Street Journal covered the news with the headline “K-Pop Earthquake: Girls’ Generation Member Jessica Jung Ousted.”

The iconic K-pop girl group will continue with only 8 members
Girls’ Generation was first formed by SM Entertainment in 2007 and is now considered one of the most popular and recognized K-pop girl groups. With Jessica’s departure, the remaining eight members are Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona and Seohyun.

Born in San Francisco, California, Jessica and her famous sister, Krystal of f(x) — who is currently starring in the popular drama “She’s So Lovable” with Rain — were both scouted by SM Entertainment in a mall while on vacation in South Korea at the age of 11. After seven years of training, Jessica was chosen to be a member of Girls’ Generation. Since then, Jessica has released several solo songs and branched out into modeling and acting — most notably in the musical theater production of “Legally Blonde” and in the popular 2012 K-drama “Wild Romance.” Earlier this year, Jessica and Krystal starred in their own reality show that followed the famous siblings in their daily, glamorous lives.

It also has been widely reported that Jessica plans to wed Tyler Kwon, a man she has been rumored to be dating for many years. Kwon is chairman and CEO of Coridel Group in New York.
