It’s been a great year for Kim Soo Hyun — from being Elle’s Top Man in the January issue to reportedly earning 500 million yuan (about $81 million USD) in China alone in 2014. Here’s a well-deserved happy birthday to one of our favorite leading men! After a number of TV roles, his breakout role in the hit series “Giant” earned him his first major award, the 2010 SBS New Star Award. Since then, he has been unstoppable! Despite his young age, what makes Kim Soo Hyun such an accomplished actor is his unparalleled ability to muster emotion on-screen. He can well up and cry with such a heart-breaking ease that watching one of his emotional scenes leaves a lasting impression.
