This Winter, The Wind Blows No More

One of the most popular Korean dramas of the season, “That Winter, The Wind Blows,” is coming to an end this week. In it, Jo In Sung shines as the morally ambiguous character Oh Soo, an orphan who lost his sense of purpose in life after his first love passed away, and became a high stakes gambler and womanizer.

Opposite him is Oh Young (Song Hye Gyo, Worlds Within), the sole heiress of the PL GroupCorporation. Estranged from her mother and brother, the blind Young is left alone after her father dies. With no one to lean on, she lives a very lonely existence until Oh Soo enters her life. But Oh Soo don't have good intentions: he sees an easy target in the blind young woman and tries to pull off his biggest scam to date -- pretending to be her long-lost older brotherand claim the family fortune.

Supporting cast members includeKim Bum who plays Park Jin Sung, Oh Soon's best friend, and Jung Eun Ji (Answer Me 1997), who plays the spunkyyounger sister of his first love, Moon Hee Sun.

"That Winter, The Wind Blows" is based on the Korean movie "Love Me Not," starring Kim Ju Hyeok as Julien, the parallel to Jo In Sung's character Oh Soo, and Moon Geun Young as Ryu Min, the parallel to Song Hye Gyo's character Oh Young.
