K-pop girl group GLAM has disbanded following the sentencing of member Dahee to one year in prison for blackmailing actor Lee Byung Hun. Dahee, along with model Lee Ji Yeon, admitted to blackmailing the actor with a “video file of lewd conversation,” for 5 billion KRW (roughly $5 million USD) and was sentenced on Thursday. Lee Ji Yeon also was sentenced to a year and two months in prison.

GLAM’s agency Big Hit Entertainment released a statement confirming that most of the group members’ contracts had recently expired, and the team has disbanded.

Lee Ji Yeon and Dahee were charged last September after Lee Byung Hun reported the attempted blackmailing to police in late August.

At trial, Dahee stated, “I apologize for causing so much worry to many people. I wanted to apologize to [Lee Byung Hun] and am sorry I did not have the chance. I also want to apologize to my parents and Lee Ji Yeon’s parents.”
