Our favorite bad boy was just named the 2014 Style Icon of the Year at the 2014 Style Icon Awards (known as “SIA”), which was held on October 28 at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul. The annual event celebrates fashion and recognizes those who have had a great deal of influence in the world of fashion in the past year.
Jo In Sung won the top recognition at the prestigious fashion event. We’re sure it’s his recent role as the slightly dangerous, bad-boy character in the popular drama “It’s Okay, That’s Love” (not to mention the even more dangerous bad boy in 2013’s “That Winter, The Wind Blows”) that helped Jo In Sung to beat out his competition for the 2014 Style Icon of the Year award.

The 2014 SIA awarded 10 Style Icon Awards (“Bonsang”) to stylish celebrities who have influenced fashion in the past year. In addition to Jo In Sung, the other winners were:
- Go Ah Ra (from “You’re All Surrounded” and “Reply 1994”)
- Kim So Hyun (from “My Love From the Star” and “Moon Embracing the Sun”)
- Kim Hee Ae (from “Secret Love Affair” and “Midas”)
- Park Hae Jin (from “Doctor Stranger,” “My Love From the Star” and “East of Eden”)
- Yoo Yeon Seok (from “Reply 1994” and “Gu Family Book”)

The 2014 SIA also awarded the New Icons in fashion to WINNER, Sung Joon (from “Discovery of Love” and “I Need Romance 3”) and Han Groo (from “Marriage, Not Dating”).
